This half day cruise visits secluded locations in the Whitsunday Islands with the best fringing reef areas for snorkeling. Your destination will be selected based on the best weather and tide conditions on the day.
The fringing inner reef tends to be slightly more colourful due to the nature of the soft coral that grows around these areas. You will find numerous smaller reef-dwelling fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, batfish, damselfish and fusiliers.
Includes:
- Scenic cruise to your destination with informative commentary
- Spend up to 2 hours on location snorkeling
- Morning or afternoon tea (pending time of cruise)
- Quality snorkeling equipment including wetsuits or stinger suits
- In water assistance and guidance from our experienced crew
Need to know:
- Guests must be able to swim to participate in snorkeling. There will be a guide in the water for assistance, and floatation devices available
- Travel in comfort onboard our custom designed dive and snorkel vessel with hydraulically lowered platform at the rear for easy access to the water, air conditioning, lounge style seating, and bathroom facilities
- Licensed bar onboard with additional snacks and drinks available to purchase
